BRUNT, Peter (Class of 1954)

The Rev Professor Peter Brunt CVO,OBE, was born on 18 January, 1936 and died from complications of Parkinson’s disease on 25 July, 2023, aged 87.

Due to the nature of his father's work Peter moved around a lot as a child, spending three years as a pupil at Cheadle Hulme School. He studied medicine at the University of Liverpool and through his career developed an interest in gastroenterology. He was consultant gastroenterologist and physician to the Queen in Scotland 1983-2001.
