Head, Mr Smith said: “I would like to congratulate all of the students at CHS who have received their examination results today. During an incredibly difficult period they have continued to maintain a clear focus on their studies, whilst continuing to engage in all that CHS has to offer. These results are a reward for all of their hard work and commitment and I look forward to seeing how they proceed in the future, knowing that they will all make a positive difference to the communities in which they live work, and study.”
Among the many high achieving students, a large number are going on to study a diverse range of subjects at top universities including Oxford and Cambridge, Durham, Leeds and London, and some even have their sights set further afield with ambitions to study and work internationally in Berlin, Canada, USA and Norway.
Inspired by their new subjects studied in CHS Sixth Form, Economics, Business, and Psychology are among the most popular subjects CHS students have chosen to study at university, with a large number also opting to pursue their careers in Art and other creative fields.
To mark the occasion and in recognition of their hard work, the former Sixth Form students are now joining with family members, friends and Staff an on-site celebration to share their own success stories and smile for the camera, whilst enjoying refreshments provided by local independent suppliers Coffee Bean Dream and Zara Cakes.
Find out more about the Class of 2022’s achievements throughout the day by reading their individual stories on CHS’s Blog, and check the Exam Results page to see this year’s final facts and figures.
