Annie Green, Class of 2019, has recently completed an accelerated biomedical degree with the University of Buckingham. We've been in touch with her Mum who tells us more about Annie's amazing results and how she has shown true Waconian spirit after an initial setback on her A Level results day.
"Annie studied day and night to complete her accelerated biomedical degree (not a degree for the faint hearted) and at the end of July she was awarded a first. She got 98% in her dissertation and the University have encouraged her to publish it.
She suffered such disappointment at A level results day by getting a B in Chemistry and her medicine offers being withdrawn. This course came up last minute and she decided to take it. She plans to apply for medicine again now. She is still only 19.
Sending her and her brother to Cheadle Hulme School was one of the best decisions we ever made."
As our Waconians are getting ready to find out their A Level and GCSE results over the next few days we would love for you to share your words of advice with them, and your success stories since leaving school. Share your words by commenting on this story or emailing er@chschool.co.uk.
