Join us on Thursday 4 June at 4.30pm for Pole Position: The Future of STEM. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the next phase of our STEM Racing programme, alongside the progress made in developing the Girls in STEM initiative and plans for a strengthened STEM Sixth Form pathway.
The Impact of STEM at CHS
The programme has reached a significant turning point. With two teams reaching the National Finals of a globally recognised engineering competition, CHS students are gaining a genuine experience of working as industry professionals. Beyond the technical skills, the initiative is fostering a culture of confidence and ambition, ensuring that more young people - particularly those in our Girls in STEM programme see a clear and viable pathway into engineering, technology, and related fields.
Event Highlights
Student Presentations: Hear from members of this year’s STEM Racing teams and their reflections on the journey to the National Finals.
Innovation Showcase: Meet the students behind the work and view the projects first-hand.
Future Roadmap: Hear how the School is developing the STEM Racing programme and wider STEM provision, including Girls in STEM and Sixth Form pathways.
Partnerships & Support
The School is now looking to build a small group of partners to help take these initiatives to the next level. It would be wonderful to have members of our community in the room as these future plans are shared.
