Join us back at School to celebrate the 129th Old Waconians' Dinner

We would like to extend a special invite to our anniversary year groups, The Classes of 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993 and 2003

Timings 

6pm Welcome drinks for all Old Waconians, and private drinks receptions for reunion year groups

7pm Dinner (The Old Waconians' Association AGM will take place at the start of the dinner)

10.30pm Taxis!

Tickets

Tickets for the evening cost £35 and include a three course meal, welcome drink, and tea/coffee.

Please note that when registering additional guests you will need to enter their first and last name, and their email address.

A bar will be available on the night to buy additional drinks.

Merchandise

When you buy your ticket for the Dinner you can also purchase a discounted Old Waconian silk tie or scarf (you can view these in the CHS Community shop).

Simply select the appropriate ticket at checkout to buy your ticket plus either a tie for £15 (usually £20) or a scarf for £10 (usually £15). Your purchase will be available to collect at the Dinner.

All proceeds from the sale of the tie and scarf will support the CHS Bursary Fund.

Reunions

We are delighted to be able to offer private drinks receptions before the dinner for the Classes of 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993 and 2003 who are celebrating key anniversaries since leaving CHS. Reunion groups will also be sat together for the meal.

If you are in an anniversary year group and would like to join us at 6pm for pre-dinner reunion drinks, please register your attendence at the dinner through your year group's specific event.

70th Old Waconians' Association Annual General Meeting

Before the dinner, a short AGM will take place. The agenda for the AGM will be available here closer to the date.

If you have any questions or matters that you would like to raise at the AGM please submit these in writing by 4 November to er@chschool.co.uk or to the School address.

Accommodation

The Pinewood Hotel in Handforth are holding a limited number of rooms for Old Waconians until 17th October at the following rates for Saturday 18th November 2023:

£89 B&B single occupancy

£99 B&B double occupancy

With this booking you will be able to cancel and change your reservation up until 4pm the day before arrival with no charge. You can also make payment on arrival. 

Please contact the hotel directly to book at these rates quoting 'Old Waconians'. Book early to avoid disappointment.
