Sunday 21 May 2023 is designated World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, and we want you to join us here at CHS to celebrate, appreciate and participate!
To celebrate being part of the rich cultural tapestry at CHS, we are hosting a special event to bring everyone together to enjoy the multicultural and international nature of our School and to deepen our cultural awareness.
Celebrate
Celebrate through music, language dance, sport, talks and workshops - plus stalls for food, arts, traditional crafts and much more! If comfortable, attendees are encouraged to attend this event in traditional dress to further this celebration.
Participate
Learn about heritages, language and cultures through participative activities and performance. The whole day will open intercultural dialogues and give everyone the opportunity to ask questions in an inclusive and safe space.
Appreciate
Through exciting activities and performances, everyone can learn about cultural diversity and appreciate their own authentic sense of inclusion and belonging. The day will incorporate CHS's core Waconian values which are underpinned by fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement.
This event is free to attend - register your place now!
